Why the Art Lover Club?
After more than 25 years of running a gallery and exhibiting at art fairs, I’ve met countless people who genuinely love art - collectors, first-time buyers, artists, and curious visitors who return year after year. Many of these names and faces are fixed in my memory, a reminder of the most valuable part of this work and the reason I love it so much: the art community.
Over time, staying in touch with this community has become noisier than it needs to be. Running a contemporary gallery now involves an increasing amount of background administration - from fair ticket requests to segmented mailing lists and repeated sign-ups. More platforms, more forms, and more automated messages can easily overcomplicate what should be a human exchange. With websites, CRMs, tags, posts, reels and algorithms all demanding attention, there is often less space left for genuine connection.
The Art Lover Club was created as a more thoughtful way to communicate: simpler, more personal, and rooted in long-term relationships. A space to stay connected without constant emails or unnecessary marketing layers. It brings together those who have already connected with the gallery and its artists, and those who wish to engage more closely over time. This isn’t about sending more emails. It’s about sharing the right information, thoughtfully.
Keeping communication intentional
By bringing everything under one clear umbrella, the Art Lover Club gives us a simpler, more personal way to stay in touch. If you’ve bought work from the gallery, you’re already in. If you regularly engage, read, reply, visit or follow along with interest, you’re part of it too. Keeping things this way allows communication to stay thoughtful rather than constant, and means fewer forms and less admin when we’re sharing new work or heading to fairs.
The club is intentionally small and shaped by genuine connection, evolving naturally over time.
What members can expect
Art Lover Club members receive occasional, carefully considered updates, which may include:
News about upcoming art fairs and newly released works
Early access to new collections and exhibitions
Invitations to special exhibitions and back-catalogue releases
Interviews and insights from the artists we work with
Practical guidance on collecting, hanging, and documenting artworks
Recommendations for exhibitions, shows, and galleries across the UK
All communication is shared with the aim of being useful, engaging, and relevant - whether you’re an established collector or developing your relationship with art more gradually.
Why this matters
Art is about connection - to artists, ideas, places, and moments in time. Collecting art is often personal and intuitive, and the strongest relationships between galleries and collectors develop slowly, through trust and shared curiosity.
The Art Lover Club creates space for that kind of relationship. It allows us to communicate in a way that reflects how art is experienced: thoughtfully, without pressure, and with room for discovery.
What I hope for
My hope is that the Art Lover Club feels like a natural extension of the gallery - a place where you feel informed, included, and comfortable reaching out. Whether you visit us at fairs, follow from afar, or live with artworks over many years, this is a way to stay connected on your terms.
A warm invitation
If you’ve ever stopped to talk at a fair, followed an artist’s journey, or found that living with a piece of work has brought lasting enjoyment, you’re already part of this community.
The Art Lover Club simply gives us a more thoughtful way to stay in touch.
Hope to see you at a fair soon. x Lara
