Based in the creative hub of Brighton & Hove since 2000, Lara Bowen Contemporary represents a carefully curated group of established and emerging artists from across the South East of England.
What began as a way to support a small group of artist friends at the early stages of their careers, has grown into a long-standing gallery programme built on trust, continuity, and close working relationships.

The gallery operates from a seasonal bricks-and-mortar space in Hove, open from May to October, and presents work at selected art fairs throughout the year. Alongside exhibitions and fairs, we offer personal consultation services, helping clients select work that resonates - whether for a first purchase or an established collection.

We also provide professional framing and hanging services, helping refresh existing displays or create new arrangements. Each project is tailored to highlight the dialogue between works and showcase both the artist’s vision and the client's taste.

Our framing partners offer fully bespoke, handcrafted framing tailored to each artwork, with specialist options including box, shadow, float, and tray frames. Artwork mounting, reframing, and reglazing services ensure each piece is presented and protected to the highest standard.
Hang It Services provide professional picture hanging and installation, ensuring precise placement and secure fixing for a clean, gallery-standard finish. Services are available across London, the Home Counties, and the South East.
